Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
ArrowShift (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a path-escape puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use ArrowShift, why it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app or this website, you agree to this policy.
Summary
- No account is required to play.
- Progress, settings, gems, hints, and related gameplay data stay on your device.
- Ads may be shown through Google AdMob, subject to your consent and platform settings.
- If you email support, we use that conversation only to help you.
Who we are
ArrowShift is the product name for this puzzle game and its companion website. For privacy questions, contact support@arrowshift.app.
Information stored on your device
ArrowShift stores gameplay and preference data locally so you can continue where you left off without creating an account. This typically includes:
- Level progress, unlocks, and star ratings
- Gem balance, hint inventory, and reward claims
- Daily challenge history and streak-related data
- Settings such as sound preferences and ad-related choices where applicable
- Optional “remove ads” or similar purchase state after a successful store purchase
We do not operate a player account system that uploads this progress to our servers. If you uninstall the app or clear app storage, local progress may be lost unless the platform restores it through its own backup features.
Information we do not collect for accounts
ArrowShift does not require your name, phone number, or a game login to play. We do not knowingly build a personal profile of you for marketing outside of what advertising partners may process under their own policies when ads are shown.
Advertising
The app may show advertisements through Google AdMob (and related Google advertising / measurement services). Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, ad serving may involve:
- Device advertising identifiers
- Approximate location or IP-derived region information
- Device and app technical data used to deliver and measure ads
- Interaction data such as ad impressions and clicks
Where required (for example under European privacy rules), we present a consent experience before personalized ads. You can review or update ad privacy options in the app under Settings → Ads privacy options when those options are available in your region. You can also adjust advertising preferences in your device system settings (such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency / Personalized Ads controls, or Google Play advertising settings).
Google’s use of information is also described in Google’s own privacy documentation for advertising products. Review those policies for details on how Google processes data.
Analytics and diagnostics
The app or store platforms may process limited technical and diagnostic information to keep the product stable (for example crash reports or performance signals provided by the operating system or store). We use such information to fix bugs and improve reliability, not to sell personal profiles.
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases (such as hints or removing ads, when offered) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status may be stored on your device so entitlements work offline.
Support messages
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any details you choose to include (for example device model or OS version). We use that information only to respond and resolve your request. We retain support mail only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
This website
The ArrowShift marketing website is a static site. It does not require an account. Standard web server or hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) may be collected by the hosting provider as part of operating the site. We do not use the website to create a player account.
Children
ArrowShift is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation because the app does not use accounts. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact support@arrowshift.app and we will delete it when appropriate.
Data retention
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear it, uninstall the app, or the platform removes app storage. Support emails are kept only as needed to assist you. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies and your consent choices.
Your choices
- Play without creating an ArrowShift account.
- Manage ad privacy options in-app when available, and in your device settings.
- Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local progress data from the device.
- Email us to ask questions about this policy or a support request you sent.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, or to withdraw consent. Because most gameplay data stays on your device, many requests are handled by clearing local app data. For other requests (for example support email content), contact us and we will help as required by applicable law.
International users
If you use ArrowShift from outside the country where our support inbox or service providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection rules. Where ads or support tools transfer data internationally, those providers are responsible for their own safeguards under their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ArrowShift evolves (for example when store features, ads, or purchases change). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish revisions. Continued use of the app or website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
